Our 7 yr. old told me this morning that everyone in her room is excited when it's music day and they can't wait to go to the music room. I told her that's great because you love music too (she takes privates) and then she added they are just happy it's not Art day....LOL.
Sounds Good!

haha....your boyfriend stories remind me of my middle DD. She always has drama. She finally married wonderful guy who looks like her "bad" boy type but isn't.

Hello. This is my first time posting to the lightweights page. :) I don't know where I belong... When I post on the other forums I get little comments about how they would like to be at my starting weight as their end weight. :(
I'm feeling frustrated.... I'm sticking to the plan and the scale is not moving... I am actually up a couple lbs this week from my weigh in last Monday. :/ I am getting at least 80+ grams of protein a day and staying under 40 carbs. Usually I am at about 10-20 if you don't count the supplements. Am I supposed to count the carbs in the calcium chews (3 each/3x a day) and the vitamins??
I keep plugging along, but I feel like I am just not going to get to my goal... :(
Here is what I am eating today.... and it is very similar to most of my days... any feedback or guidance on what those of you would do that have succeeded and continue to do so well in maintenance would be greatly appreciated!! :)
S - Syntrax Nectar Protein Drink (23 protein / 0 carb)
L - 2 eggs/2 TBSP turkey sausage/Weigh****chers reduced fat American cheese slice (19.08 protein / 3.27 carbs)
S - Mozzarella twist cheese stick (6 protein / 1 carb)
L - 3 oz chicken breast/1 TBSP Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise/1 TBSP Sweet Pickle Relish (13.56 protein / 5.26 carbs)
S - Mozzarella twist cheese stick (6 protein / 1 carb)
D - Baked Mahi Mahi (21.76 protein / 0 carb)
Totals: 89.40 Protein / 10.53 Carbs / 733 Calories / 36.08 Fat
Water: Currently at 48, will hit a minimum of 64 oz.
Vitamins: On track
Exercise: Will do 30 minutes (1.5 miles) on treadmill / 100 sit ups in the Ab Lounger / Day 2 of 30 days of Yoga I found on YouTube. :)
Welcome to the LW board - and it sounds like this is EXACTLY the place you should be!
Surgery in November I see - but not sure which surgery you had. So you are close to 3 months post-op?
As far as carbs in calcium chews - yes I had to count them. They still are a carb :(
Your menu looks very good protein/carb wise. Do you feel restriction when you eat?
Not sure what to tell you - perhaps substitute another protein drink for a cheese stick...
Others may chime in to help!

Thanks! I had the Lap Band in March 2008 and converted to the Sleeve in November 2014. I will be 3 months post op on February 6th. :) I thought the carbs in the vitamins and calcium counted... some days I would put them in my tracker.... some days I didn't. I will start putting them in every day... either way I was still staying under 40 carbs a day.
I do feel restriction when I eat. I'm finding it very easy to stick with the plan. Sometimes my snacks vary, and if I find I am low on protein I will have another protein shake before bed.
I guess I may not be getting enough fluid?? I'm getting at least 65 oz, but maybe my body needs more...
Thanks for your reply! I will keep on chugging away. :)
Welcome aboard!
Maybe your body is just taking a little breather from losing so much in the past few weeks. Stay on plan and work to get the fluids up. You're doing great!
I do have a question. I've never done yoga but want to try it, what video are you using on You Tube?
