A snowy day-a plan for success today
Good morning Lightweights! It is still snowing here in South Jersey and I am relaxing with a cup of coffee at my home desk due to the fact that our Governor has issued a State of Emergency and all schools are closed. I am a music/theater teacher and just finished producing/directing my first play of the school year.
I have decided to have a daily list of goals, nothing too stringent, just some things to shoot for daily.
1. Meditate at least once (done) to release anxiety and to be grateful for all I have achieved and everything I have in my life.
2. Either walk for 60 minutes or do my strength training exercises
3. Keep my carbs to a minimum level.
4. Write down after or before each meal and snack what I have consumed.
5. Post/comment on OA Lightweights forum board.
Have a great day!
Wow - I saw on the news that NJ and CT was under a State of Emergency.
I need to start writing things down... it makes me more accountable (not just food either).
Hope you stay safe and warm!

that is a great list!!
I don't get the meditation done but when I walk or drive my pony, I come close.
Carbs stay low as a matter of course
I post daily my food on Miles and Menus and think it is very helpful.
My list includes something different each day related to work. Plan what needs to be done and get it done, which is harder that it seems sometimes when you work at home and you are the boss so there is no one looking over your shoulder.
