I know I'm not supposed to smoke BUT
I started smoking again about 6 mo after surgery. I'm almost two years out now and I'm trying once again to quit!!! Today is my first day without cigarettes and just my ecig. I'm going nuts and really trying to snack healthy healthy healthy. I ate some crackers but now I'm munching on carrots. It's very very hard notto graze when you are trying to quit so I figure if I have to graze this is the best way to do it. WISH ME LUCK!!!
Smoking is hard but you are doing the right thing. No one should smoke.

I will be cigarette free 6 years on 4/5/14. I chew gum. I quit cold turkey too! I had quit once before and learned that once you quit, you cannot even have 1 anymore. I can't stand to smell them now! I am a gumoholic now!! I don't like not having gum on me now. I buy mine at sames in bulk...lol
It's been over a year now. My motivation was money. I have saved a ton and whenever I consider going back to it I remember the cost and decide against it.
I occasionally use an ecig. I actually went over board and bought a ton of liquids, many I haven't even tried. I mostly forget about it then I run across my one and take a few puffs. It does help with any serious cravings I get.
Good luck. If I can do it then there is hope for anyone.
