How did DS handle the hospital, going to your home and then back to his home?
We've been looking at Nursing Homes for our Mom and two different places told us we should stay away for 6-8 weeks so she can adjust. I'm just not sure I can do that.
I rarely bake any more because I'm the one who eats them. If I want something sweet I stop and buy something.
Rest of the day sounds Great!

Hi Roz!
My bathroom is DONE! Nicole went over and we facetimed and did a final walk through. I found only 1 item that needed to be changed/fixed which he said was just a couple of minutes. I had the tub replaced with a shower. I don't have a shower door yet and will probably put a curtain up in the meantime until I figure out what I want and can afford it...
Planning on heading north this weekend, but we have some bad weather expected so I'll just play it by ear... Now I'm considering detouring through Florida first. When I went in Nov my girlfriend and I went to an antiques flea market and I bought stuff too big to bring back. Figured it gave me an excuse to go back ;) The drive from VA is doable, but the drive back to MI - ugh. I hate 2 day drives. I don't like getting hotel rooms by myself in strange places off the highway... plus with my SUV anyone can look in the windows and see what I've got. I kept meaning to throw my cargo cover in and kept forgetting. Guess I can cover it up with a blanket or tarp though. Hmmm.. I have a cousin in TN... maybe I'll need to give her a holler...
Eats today:
B - coffee x2
L - mexican (took my work-guys out to lunch)
D - leftover chicken
Vits: yep
Water: a little low... waiting until the Mex sits for awhile.

I have new flooring for our bathroom on my list but a new back porch and deck comes next. DH doesn't like shower doors so I have a curtain. I try to decorate my bathroom every holiday or season. I still have my Santa stuff up but I haven't found anything I like yet so I might just jump to spring.
Be Safe!
