I'll get this started for Roz.  She must be busy - and I'm thinking she probably has the day off!  Lucky her!

Been busy - got some new pictures of my bathroom remodel today from my contractor.  I'm excited to see the final product.  I keep making changes but he rolls with it (and charges me more) - I just need him done by next weekend.  I need to get a cleaner in there to clean before I get back since there's drywall dust everywhere (I've been told).

Eating yesterday was carby.  And now I crave carbs.  Never ending circle... You have to be good for 3 days to "de-carb" but it takes just 1 to "re-carb".. :)

B - coffee w/creamer (x 2)

L - leftover pork chop

D - Well - the carby part was the pizza yesterday, and I have some left over.  Either that or a chicken dish I made.

Water:  doing good today.

Thanks Jody!  I do have the day off but we spent most of the day looking at Nursing Homes for our Mom.  I'm just not sure I can do it.  My brother is pushing for it and he is a hard person to say no to.  He is very intimidating.

You are soooo right about the carbs!  It is so easy to get hooked.  If it weren't for weighing myself every day I would probably over do the carbs more often.

Breakfast:

Lunch:   ham and cheese sandwich

Snack:   80 Calorie Cherry Yogurt

Dinner:  1/2 cup Spaghetti

Snack:   3 TBS. Plain Popcorn

Roz

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

So sorry to hear you may be needing your Mom to go into a nursing home.  Honestly, from just my small experience with my Dad, I would say if she is able to take care of herself (mostly) then let her continue living at home.  I just don't think they took very good care of him.  My Mom wasn't happy at all about his hygiene either.  I know not all nursing homes are the same, but this one had "good" reviews...

My Mom still had to go everyday and shave him, make sure he was "clean", etc.  And she would go and he would be wearing someone elses' clothes.  They also "lost" his glasses when he first got there.  Organization wasn't their strongest point.

Stand your ground with your brother.  Is he taking care of her?  What is his motive for her going?  Doesn't she live with you above your garage?

I spend a good part of the day at the hospital.  DS white cells when up and they added another antibiotic.  If it is still up tomorrow they will start looking for an abscess.  When DH got there, I came home and drove Teke then went to muscle pump class.  I need it for stress relief!!!
