Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

Morning LW's!!!

Well I got a good night of sleep and my stress level seems to be calming down which also brings my eating under control. Yesterday was a pretty good day. At one point during the week my scales said 122...UGH but this morning I'm back down to my norm of 119.

Have a Successful Day Lightweights!!!

Great to see you posting!!!  I heard the Philadelphia area had really bad ice.  Our kids were traveling back from Atlantic City today and they said the roads were dry and that made me super happy.

I haven't tried the Butter buds.  I did buy an Air-Popper  but it was way to dry for me so I took it back.  I use a microwave one and I add a little oil.

Super happy you are posting!  Would you mind putting your Surgery Type and Date somewhere.  Most of us have it at the top of our page or in our signature.

I see your meals are based on Protein...that's good but do you know what the total is?

Up early again and headed to the hospital.  The when DH got there to relieve me, had to get groceries.  Finally got my soup started when I got home but it will be tomorrow before it is any good.  DS has at least one more night in the hospital.  White cell count is coming down but not where the Dr wants it yet.  So I will head out again early tomorrow to sit with him.  Luckily, we don't have to stay all night.

I must have read your other post wrong.  I thought it was your DH who was in the hospital.  How's your son handling being in there?

We went to look at Nursing Homes this morning.  2 different homes told us they would suggest we don't come an visit for 6-8 weeks so she can adjust.  Is that the case in your field?

I was hungry for a hot dog today but the Grandsons wanted nothing to do with it....LOL

Sounds like a Good Protein Day Price!
