BMI 32?

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum but not new to vsg knowledge. My husband was sleeved 12/21/12 and I was beside him through it all. His BMI was 46, though. Now we are looking into getting me the sleeve as well. My BMI is 32 (ish) but I've struggled with weight my whole life. I know that with a lower BMI we will have to pay out of pocket. 

Has anyone else been sleeved with this low of a BMI? I want to get ahold of my weight while I'm still in my 20s.

Welcome!  Sounds totally reasonable to get the sleeve at this time. I wish others could do the same. It just makes sense. Good luck!

I was 61 and sure wish I could have done it earlier.  Good luck on the process and procedure. 

I had a BMI of 31 but was continually gaining. I was self pay. I lose slower than others but it was the best thing I ever did. I started at 184, now am 158. I'm 5'5. Ten pounds away from being a normal BMI!

Wow about 30lbs in 3 months! I am constantly gaining too. Every year I'm a little heavier, despite diet attempts every year.

I'm almost 5'11, 233lbs. First goal is to get under 200, then to get under 180. Anything from that point on is a bonus!
