WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

I was listening to the radio this morning and the man said "AWE...the sweet smell of Monday" and I thought "you must have a bad weekend....LOL. We had any Awesome weekend! We took 11 teams to a National Competition, screamed our hearts out for 18 routines, and took home 9 Firsts and 2 seconds, several level champs, several Bids to the Summit, DD got 4 Choreography Awards and our Diamonds who just got a new Pyramid 2 practices ago were Grand National Champions. AWE....the sweet smell of Victory!!!
Maintenance: 6+ years out and starting the new year right on target!!!
Breakfast:
Snack: Meat and Cheese Roll-up
Lunch: Salad
Snack: Banana
Snack: 80 Calorie Greek Yogurt with Cherries
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch...YUMMY Nuts (Only buy the Gluten Free the plain ones are to sweet)
Dinner: Steak and 1/2 of DH's Baked Potato skin
Snack: 3 TB. of Popcorn

I have been line dancing w my friend for exercise 2/3 times per week. Fun but only in my basement out of view lol
breakfast. Coffee w sf creamer & Banana
lunch. Salad w smoked chicken, cheese, craisins, pecans and cucumber. Light raspberry vinegrette dressing.
Snack. More smoked chicken and wheat thins.
Dinner I am making baked chicken parm w lots chicken and sm portion pasta.
Snack. ? Not sure yet, maybe popcorn

Weekend was lazy. Which is good once in awhile. I'm in VA and trying to coordinate my bathroom remodel in MI from here, so we'll see how that works out. Better to do it while I'm not there....
I did get on the scale today. I've been avoiding it, which isn't healthy. I was surprised I was down about 2 lbs from weighing in MI and the scales are pretty closely calibrated. I've been eating ok and have cut down the adult beverages. My son is getting married in May - I still need to lose 10 lbs (same 10 I've been wanting to lose now for a year!)
B - coffee w/cream and splenda (just doen't taste as good)
L - home made spaghetti sauce (lots of meat and veggies) over nothing... with parmesan cheese
S - a few sf pickle slices
S - a few almonds (need my salt fix)
D - I have a few leftovers. I made my baked pork chops last night - yum! Use pork rinds for the breading w/egg and cream. The flavor is 1/2 a packet of dry ranch dressing to the pork rinds. I also added a little italion seasoning this time. This breading also works great on chicken, fish, etc. I don't like pork rinds by themselves, but crushed and as a breading - they are awesome!

YES they definitely GROAN!! Pittsburgh has quite a few All-Star gyms and we are pretty much hated by most of them. Mainly because they have lost girls to us.
I wish I could do some remodeling!! We are hoping to get a new back deck/porch this summer and the next thing is carpeting and living room furniture.
Congrats on the scale!!! How exciting...I love May Weddings. Is it in TX? That's a Great reason to get serious about losing the 10 pounds. Was your DD's wedding before WLS? All 3 of our girls were and I had to wear tents to all of them...LOL. When our DD got remarried last summer getting a dress was the most exciting part for me personally. It wasn't fancy but I felt great in it. I always dreamed of getting a "little" black dress someday. I wasn't ashamed of getting my picture taken either.

How wonderful for you and the girls!!!! There is a cheer team that is starting practice when I go into muscle pump and they just amaze me. Ah to be young and fit again.
Its been warmer here but grey and wet all day. I've gotten a lot done so I guess it's ok. Muscle pump tonight.
Going back to ultra low carb to get some of these pounds off. I hate the idea of dieting but I did get some grapefruit to have one a day and the turkey soup is all no/very low carb veggies and turkey.

I try really hard to now think of it as a diet. I think when you normally eat crazy and decide to lose weight you go on a diet. When I eat crazy I am splurging so then I have to get back to eating normal. Does that make sense....LOL?
