Yesterday, ice chips.  Today, I started my day with Apple juice. Yum.  I can already tell I made a great decision to have weight loss surgery. I feel better than I have in years even though I had surgery two days ago! Happy, happy, happy!

Congrats on your Surgery!! I'm glad everything went really smooth for you!! If you could please put your surgery date and type in your heading or signature that would help us a lot.

I'm glad you are able to drink.  That's something I struggled with for quite awhile.  My throat cramped up so much I wandered if I was ever going to drink again....LOL.  It seems crazy now but I was serious back then.

I'm sure your Surgeon told you what was ok to eat/drink and the first week I'm just glad you are getting something in to keep you hydrated but apple juice has a lot of sugar in it and depending on your surgery type it make you dump and it might slow down weight loss later on.

Keep us updated!!!

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

go to your name in the upper right hand coner, then profile.  On the top of the page in the middle there is an update button that has the date of your surgery and your surgeon.  Not sure if it's somewhere else too - they've changed this site a lot since I've put in mine.

Hurray for you.  Sounds like you are doing great!!!

A little surprised at the apple juice but it seems like they gave me something weird in the hospital that wasn't on my plan.  We weren't allowed juices for months because of the sugar.  Anyway, if you had RNY, just be careful.  You certainly don't want to dump this early!!

Walk, rest, sip, repeat.
