Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

Good Morning LW's!!!  I've been slacking on my Vitamins!!  I raided my cupboards to find a few new bottles of A, E and D3 so I started those yesterday and now I need to get my Calcium ordered and whatever else Major Mom suggests.  It's been so long I don't even remember when it happened....

Hi Roz,

I can honestly say that the one thing I have not neglected since surgery was my vitamins.  That and NO Diet Coke since about 4 weeks before surgery.  Now, everything else I've probably done and am now paying for it.

I'm taking a closer look at what I need to do to get myself back to where I need to be and am going to make some changes so my food for the next week is going to look really weird.  I'm going to eat more protein(especially eggs & cheese) and try to avoid almost all carbs and other things.  I'm going to take a week off from my protein drinks.  I think I need to change things up a little bit and I've been looking at some different options.  I'll let you know after my week(if I make it) how it went.  I didn't start until lunch today.  I thought about doing the liquids(Protein Drinks) for a few days but decided I needed food instead of drinking something.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  2 Eggs, 1 oz cheese microwaved until crisp
S:  String Cheese
D:  Buffalo Omelette
S:  String Cheese

Vitamins:  Morning Done
Water/Fluids:  60 ozs so far
Miles:  None

Wow, Linda.  That is a change.  I hope it goes well for you.  I think about switching things out every so often but can't really think what I would change.  I'm pretty happy eating how I do.  I am going to add more starch or carbs, like a potato or fruit, on the days I work out (Mon/Wed muscle pump).  I think sometimes about losing the artificial sweetner but that would mean no protein drinks and that would be really hard.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

I do fine with my vits/min when I fill my pill box as soon as it is empty.  If I slack, I may miss a day or two before I get it filled again.

this rainy dreary weather sucks.  But I have my annual dinner with my staff on Tues and it has made me stay inside and prepare for that. Contracts, evaluations, etc mean a mound of paper to get ready.

decaf protein coffee  33g
sausage in a low carb wrap
lemon tea protein  13g
turkey veggie soup
lemon tea protein  13g
pistashios
taco salad
protein shake  33g
