At a stand still
Hello everyone
I had the rny on 11/13. Within the first 3 weeks I lost 24 pounds. I haven't lost not any weight since. Has anyone experienced the same? I had trouble with the puree stage i wasnt tolerating food. Dr said to revert back to liquids for another week which I did. Started puree and I am tolerating food which is great. However I am still at a stand still.

Almost there to getting under the 200 category. Any tips is greatly appreciated.
It's common to hit a "stall" at week 3. Your body is catching up and saying "what the heck did you do to me?". 24 lbs in 3 weeks is awesome! But - we always recommend you take your measurements before and during your weight loss. Many times the scale doesn't move, but we are shrinking still (clothes fitting looser, etc). It does keep your sanity in check! I did a measurement every month on my surgiversary date and kept a spreadsheet. I also weighed daily and had an app on the computer (don't have it anymore and don't remember what it is) that I entered my weight. Many times I felt I wasn't losing and would look back at it and say "oh look - I did lose some here...".
Just keep doing the right things and it will start up again. We've all been there!

Yep, Jody is right, as usual. It's just a stall and you may drop several pounds at once when you start losing again.
This site has a tracker that includes a place to put your measurements as well as your weight. It was very helpful to me when I was going.
Also, I followed my plan to a T and took pride in following all the instructions even when I wasn't losing. That helped me keep my sanity during stalls.
Be sure you keep up your protein and your fluids. Food is great but not as important as the protein and fluid. That will help you keep losing also.

I think everyone is different with how/when they eat. Being early out you need to keep hydrated, but getting protein is important too. It's often difficult to try and follow the rules when your pouch is small regarding waiting for 1/2 hour after eating before drinking.
Some Dr's have eating guidelines - mine didn't. I found, for me, eating 3 meals a day works better than 5 small ones - but I know others who do well with smaller, more frequent meals.
Whatever works for you is the right thing to do.

My Dr was opposite from Jodies. We were "eating" in the beginning 6-8 times a day, although it was tiny amounts of protein drinks or pureed food. We progressed to 4-5 meals a day over the next few months. I still have protein coffee, breakfast, protein drink, lunch, protein drink, snack, supper, protein drink. My DH says the reason I had surgery was to eat all the time. Actually, I still have 4 "meals" a day after 4 years. I have tried from time to time to give up my afternoon snack and do sometimes depending on the time of my other meals. You will figure out what works for you but it will change over the months following surgery as you get more used to your pouch and you heal. Right now, protein and fluid are what is most important.
