Hi! What is the protein coffee you listed in your post? Does it have caffeine?

Hi Abby.

I brew decaf and "cream" it with protein.  There are several coffee flavored proteins but I like it this way.  We all have slightly different ways of doing it but here is mine.

I brew my decaf in a 5 cup pot,  hubby still drinks regular so we brew separately.  Then I mix 1.5 scoops of protein in about 3/4c warm water with a spoon.  I use that to cream the 5 cups of coffee, which actually works out to be 2 large mugs.  I mainly use Mint Cookie and Vanilla, half and half for the protein but sometimes use Chocolate, Vanilla, Cinnamon Vanilla, Chocolate Carmel.  You can use about anything you think would be good in coffee.  You can also use just vanilla and one of the SF syrups.

Brew a pot of your favorite coffee or chai tea (decaf or reduced caffeine)
1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, water, Lactaid milk, or any combo of low carb fluid, maybe even almond milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder (JayRobb vanilla whey protein isolate is also good. Look for a protein powder where whey protein isolate is the first ingredient)
small splash of DaVinci cinnamon sugar free syrup or a dash of ground cinnamon and a packet of Truvia or Splenda
{shake} until blended, about 5 seconds
Pour into large/huge/mega huge mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine)
{stir}


Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees
