Thank you! Yes. I'm feeling good. I've done very well. Some days are a little difficult. Just trying to learn as I go and embrace this new tool I have:)
As Lightweights I think we've all had the "you're not small enough" comment. Just last night (for some reason??? and I'm over 6 years out) I was thinking about an experience I had in the waiting room of my surgeons office. I had a lady ask me "how long ago did you have your surgery"? I told her I hadn't had it yet - and she said "why are you getting the surgery - you're not big enough" in a snarky tone. Of course the room was packed with people - luckily for me I was called to go back to the exam room just then.
Just keep your head up and if you must respond tell them it's for your health.
