Thank you for the warm welcome!! I'm 47 years old. My pre-surgical weight was 206. I'm 5'1. I was so happy to find this site. I've had many people say to me that I didn't need the surgery. They would ask me why I was having the surgery. I felt I had to explain and justify my decision. I realize now that I don't have to explain. I knew how I was feeling physically and I wasn't feeling well at all.I just didn't show it. I'm almost 5 weeks out from my surgery and I'm down 26 lbs. I can't believe how good I feel! It's amazing. This has been a challenge for sure but I'm hanging in there!

We are represented by every type of surgery but basically being LW's we pretty much eat the same.
