WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

Morning!!!!  Well our DD who is 6 months pregnant got the flu really bad.  Her stomach and legs were cramping bad so we took her to the hospital.  They got her hydrated and observed her. She finally got released and other than not feeling well and being extremely exhausted she is doing pretty good.

How did the little ones handle it?  This is the craziest flu I've ever seen and it is spreading like a wildfire.  High Fevers a running from 101 to 105.  Sore Throats, Stuffiness, Headache, body aches and complete exhaustion.   DGS threw up yesterday but the Dr. told them that the medicine caused that.

Sounds Yummy!

They did ok. The bug they had lasted 24 hours and the other grandma took care of the middle one.  I hope that was the worst of their bugs this year.  : (

My son-in-law knows a lot about computers.  I'm so fortunate. Each one of our SIL's have a special talent that we call on often...Computers, Cars, and one not to experienced in technical things but always willing to help.

Nice Weather....I'm so jealous!

Sounds Good Price!

Roz, I am so glad she is doing better.  I'm not posting what I ate yesterday because I should be ashamed and I am.....

I went to DGD#2's house and stayed with her all afternoon while her parents visited my SIL's mother in the hospital.  They are pretty sure she has cancer (esophagus and stomach).  They are suppose to do a CT scan to see if it has spread anywhere else before they decide what action they will take for treatment.  Please say a prayer for her.

I definitely will!!!!!  Did you hear the results yet?  My Dad died from lung and liver cancer.  It is a horrible thing.

This is just a suggestion but I stopped using the Carbquick because it made me crave carbs.  It's been awhile so I was thinking I might try it again and see if I have the same reaction.

The CT scan showed 3 places in her stomach, it is in her throat, esophagus and her lymph nodes.  She is suppose to meet with the oncologists today to see what treatment if any can be done.  It is just a really sad situation.

I have not been using the Carbquik.  I have been using Coconut Flour or Almond Flour.  They have more calories but hardly any carbs.  I have been having issues with sweets too - I can eat some and not get sick...
