Post Op Pain

I felt like I had been run over by a semi for days.  I was in the hospital for 3 days.  No you are not being a baby.  It will just take you a while to get over this.  I didn't feel normal again for weeks.  GasX may help if your surgeon allows it.  Otherwise, don't be afraid to belch or fart.  You need to let it out!!!

And welcome to the light weights!!!  Sorry you are having a tough beginning but it is the rest of your life you have ahead of you and this will just be a blip on the radar.

What a difference a day or so makes! I feel pretty good (still weak but able to move without wanting to die) and my husband made dinner for himself and I thought it smelled good! Wheeeee!

im also getting more fluids in since it doesn't hurt as badly. I had the best 4 hour nap earlier too. :-)

thanks for responding to my post. It's nice that I know there are people here that won't just say "oh it hurts? Maybe you shouldn't have done it then"
