Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Afternoon LW's!!!! Are you preparing for the Holidays? Decorating and shopping done? How the perfect Christmas outfit to show off your new figures? DH always wants me to buy something red. Which reminds me...my profile picture was taken when I was a few years out with my Red Christmas top. I think it's time for a new pic.
How's Christmas shopping going? I'm about 1/2 through....at least money wise...LOL. The older the grandkids get the more everything costs and the less presents they get. Our oldest one asked for most of her things from a company in the UK and they aren't even suppose to arrive before Christmas. I guess she's going to get wrapped up boxes with a picture inside. I'm hoping the company surprises me and they come before the big day.
Maintenance: 6+ years out!!!
Breakfast: Scrambled Egg, Egg Beater Whites, Diced ham
Snack: Greek Yogurt with Cherries
Lunch: 1/2 can Bean and Bacon Soup
Snack: Laughing Cow Lite Swiss Cheese Wedge and 6 Saltines
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar...YUMMY Nuts and Gluten Free
Dinner: Eating out

Hi Roz! My shopping is pretty much done. My family's Christmas is tomorrow night. I'm leaving for VA on Sat and won't be bac****il mid-Jan so I had to get it done. I've got a small tree in my living room window I'm contemplating taking with me. I think it will brighten things up in my small place there.
I'm not doing anything special (like parties, etc) for Christmas but I am for NY Eve. I found a dress at Salvation Army and really liked it but when I got it home and tried it on, wasn't crazy about it. Was at my daughters' and we were talking about my son's upcoming wedding (May) and she won't be back into her "normal" clothes yet (baby is due end of Feb) and said she'd love to wear a dress she wore to a wedding before and how it would be the "perfect" NY Eve dress - so... I brought it home, tried it on and LOVED it. I'm quite "curvy" now and it definitely shows them off. I'll need to wear some control top pantyhose or spanx to try and get rid of the bumpy thighs but the dress is quite forgiving. It's silver with sequins. I bought some sparkly silver shoes at Payless so this is going to be a CHEAP outfit - lol.
Went to the hospital today to see my Dad. I truly think it will be the last time I see him alive. He has deterioriated a lot and now his throat is paralyzed. He can't talk or eat without choking so now he has to be tube fed. He initially looked like he didn't recognize me but it could have been because I woke him up. Nicole and the girls went too and he responded to them pretty good.
Eating hasn't been great...

I think we're mostly done with Christmas shopping but now the kids are sick with one grandbaby down and the other 2 just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'll be checking on them at lunchtime today to see if they want me to take 1 or 2 to help out...then we'll be sick.

Spending x mas w the boyfriend but have no idea of presents : our first holiday together so probably a fire and tree and maybe a sweater should be enough.
Hes a great diet coach because he literally hardly eats unlike me the formerly incorrigible grazer . As a result of trying not to show my gluttony .. In back in post operative size clothes mostly size zeros. I'm taking a road trip now and am amazed I'm sitting here in size zero jeans : not even unbuttoned lol 😳😀
I ate a lot yesterday running errands in the City and feeding my overeater driver lol. Breakfast : 2 pork ribs and French toast w maple syrup cut w sugar free syrup . Grapes cherries and green kale juice as snacks then almond dried cranberry and pistachio trail mix . Lunch was lobster salad on a whole wheat pecan raisin roll. Snack - chocolate cake w frosting and part of a donut 😒 and dinner was Polish pickle soup some chicken mushroom meatloaf and grapes
My computer has been awful. It has slowed down to a crawl and I have to sign in everywhere, over and over. Time for the computer guy!! So this is yesterday's menu.
Shopping, mostly done and 2 packages mailed yesterday. Just some little stuff to pick up. Decorating, hummm. I will drag out the tree but that will be it. Just don't do all the other stuff anymore.
decaf protein coffee 33g
2 eggs, 3 turkey bacon
lemon tea protein 13g
