Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

 Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

 

WOW...December!  I guess the cold weather should have warned me it was coming. Eating has been way off.  I haven't been eating much and most of what I've been eating isn't good for me.  Today's my first day back to work so things should get back to MY normal.

Maintenance:   6+ years out!!!

Lunch:              Meat and Cheese plus a couple pieces of turkey

Snack:              Laughing Cow Lite Swiss Wedge and 6 Saltines

Snack:              Greek Yogurt with Cherries

Dinner:             Hamburger something

It's been beautiful and warm here.  upper 60s today.  I drove Teke and did billing and went to muscle pump.

fish chowder, cornbread
protein shake  33g

I was off today.  DIL and I went Christmas shopping for her family and the grandbabies.  We had a really fun day.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee

L:  Brisket & Provolone Cheese (Smokey Bones)
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
S:  Cookie
D:  Ham, Mac & Cheese - almost gone
S:  1/2 pecan roll

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  100 ozs
Miles:  8000 steps today

I'll be glad when all the junk is out of my house...  I seem to not have any willpower these days at all I don't know what is wrong with me.

I totally understand.  I know exactly how folks regain all their weight.  I may not be able to eat like I used to but I can eat all day long.  And now being smaller, it takes much less not gain, even with all the exercise I get.

Thanks Price.  This is the first time since my surgery that I am truly struggling.  Part of it is my fault for eating such things as carbs and sweets.  I just can't seem to get myself back together.
