Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Morning LW's!! How's your scales before the holiday? Mine were below my comfort zone for Sunday's weigh-in and the last 2 days they have been at 118 which is the bottom of my "perfect" range. Because I know I'm going to want stuffing and a piece of pie so I've been watching my "bad" carbs. Would you think of this as dieting? Last day of work this week...YEAH!!!! Lots to do tomorrow to get ready for Thanksgiving. I have both of my Turkeys thawing. The house is spotless so that will make it less frustrating to get everything done.Maintenance: 6+ years out!!!

My scales were up after the weekend but now headed back down. Because I am not doing the "big" cooking and won't have tons of leftovers, I think I am pretty save for just one day of feasting, then back to the normal. I will have DS home for Wed-Sun so I will be cooking extra, more than I do for just DH and me, but I will handle it.

Hi Roz,
My scales are up and have been for several months. Until I get back to some type of regular exercise it will probably stay that way.... I guess I'm going to have to give it up and join the gym again. I would just so much rather walk/jog outside.
My house is not clean either and everyone is coming to my house Thursday. We will feed the guys at the fire department Thursday at lunch and my parents are here and will be leaving Thursday after lunch so we will pack up a lot of leftovers and send with them. She loves to freeze and reheat this around Christmas so she doesn't have to cook at home.
