Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Morning LW's!!!
I had my yearly physical this morning at my PCP....ugh. I had one of those days that my scale was up to 120 and I was dreading getting weighed. I guess I was really dreading the Dr. saying I was up a couple of pounds and him thinking I was failing at this whole WLS thing. I'm down over 80 lbs. from my highest weight so I'm sure he would not think of me as a failure for gaining a couple of pounds but in my eyes I would have felt that way. I'm not sure those thoughts will ever go away. On a good note: The scale said 123 last year!!

I used to hate going to the Dr and listening to the lectures about my weight. Not any more. I love going and not having any co-morbidities and no meds and being healthy. And you are down from last year!!! good for you.
Had to send a part of my cart to the shop so I did ground work with Teke and now need to do paperwork. One of the ladies from Muscle pump has started a cleaning business and came by this morning. Hurray, I will have someone to clean house again!!!

I forgot my scale had been up last year. My IC hadn't have been diagnosed yet and I was eating a lot of carbs because they calmed down the cramps. Just thinking of facing him next year will help me keep on track.
I hope you new housekeeper works out. It would be terrible if it doesn't since you know her. I'm having a lazy day and I should be cleaning!
Sounds Yummy!

Thanks Gina! On most days I feel successful but there's always that one uncontrollable day! My scales were at my low end today....118....if it would just stay there a couple of days.
Sounds Good!
