Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I hope you have all been out enjoying the last days of summer BUT I have missed all of you posting!! Good thing Gina responded or I would have been feeling really rejected....LOL.

HI Roz! Weekends find me away from the computer - especially if the weather is nice! Was out on the motorcycle all day yesterday and the day before went to a Blues/Brew fest. Was very nice. Also, my apartment has sketchy internet connection in the living room. Don't know why but it drives me nuts. If I want to use a computer I have to go back into the bedroom. Probably not happening...
I'm "back on track" today. I tangled with poison ivy almost a month ago and it's STILL driving me batty at times. My legs look horrible. I usually wear dresses to work and my biggest probelm is my pants don't fit... I only have 2 pairs of dress pants that do. I was able to "ignore" that before... now I end up wearing jeans to work. Also, I have a vacation coming up in a month to go to FL to see a girlfriend. She has lost 20 pounds this past summer and now the pressure is on! I know I can do it. I need to dedicate myself, get my mind in order and start doing some moving (exercising). I go back to MI next week and I hope I can get myself into a good routine.
I have some protein that I think is a bit carby. It's a Syntrax chocolate with cookies. 1 scoop is 4g of carbs. Not sure why I bought it... I'll just have to be sure the rest of my food is pretty carb-free to accomodate for it. Need to get decarbed. My eating hasn't been horrible but I've let some rice/nuts/chips creep in over the weekend. Want to keep my carbs under 20 a day.
B - coffee w/cream/splenda and a protein coffee
L - homemade pizza with a cream cheese/egg/parmesan crust. It was "ok"...
S - if needed - baked pork chop
D - I have some Keto chili I made last week that needs to be eaten.
Vits: no - I forgot them this morning! I remembered on my drive into work, I'll take them when I get home
water: doing ok - have my ice tea

When are you going to FL? Are you driving? We leave on our cruise the 24th. We really haven't had a very hot summer so I'm looking forward to some really warm weather.
I don't think if nuts as carbs that I have to avoid But I could sure go for some chips...lol.
My DGD wanted Pizza Hut last night for her birthday and her favorite is Chicken Alfredo. It was delish. I don't like red sauce so I think I finally found a pizza worth eating carbs for. I hope they sell it in the Personal pan size because DH would never eat it.

Hi Roz, don't feel bad. I was gone all weekend at a horse show. Teke did great and won lots of ribbons. I was so proud of him but came home beat. I am still tired today and one of my old habit, eating for energy, is trying to creep in so I am trying very hard to be good. Paperwork today, muscle pump tonight.

Hi Roz,
I was out of town Wednesday - Friday for the other audit - so glad that is over. No more audits for me now unless I just come in and help after I retire!! Weekends are always so busy. I will have to check and see if you posted pictures of the cake. At least you will have something to keep yourself busy when you retire. DH hasn't decided when he us going to retire. I'm hoping he holds on for awhile. I can't see myself retiring for a long time.
Sounds Good!
