Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

Gloomy Sunday here but it looks like a beautiful week coming.

Why do we keep making the same mistakes over and over again? I think we all agree "bad" carbs are addicting!  I personally know I have to avoid them and on most days I do a pretty good job of that but put a sugary carb in front of me and my mind turns to mush.  I have always struggled with anything sweet my whole life. I try my best to fight it off but I usually lose the battle.  I am so thankful for my RNY and I am so thankful that at almost 6 years out I still fear dumping or I would lose control a lot more often.

RNY Maintenance Almost 6 years out!!!

Breakfast:        1 Scrambled Egg, Eggbeater Whites, diced ham

Lunch:

Snack:              1/2 Dannon Light and Fit Greek (cherry)

Snack:              Nature Valley Gluten Free Almond Crunch Bar (YUMMY Nuts)

Dinner:             Chicken Stuffing casserole

Snack:

Snack:              3 TBS. of Plain Popcorn Kernels made in microwave

Your picture posts always puts a smile on my face! Our cruise isn't until the end of October but I got most of my stuff packed.  I left all of the extra things that I wasn't going to need packed.  I thought warm weather was gone but its back so I haven't packed my shorts yet.

Sounds Good!

The end of a hard weekend.  I had to be at a horse show as the announcer all weekend and it was a poorly run show so it made announcing and keeping it on track very hard.  Plus, of course they didn't have appropriate for me stuff to eat.  at least I had my protein.

decaf protein coffee  33g
chicken/cheese wrap with low carb wrap
lemon tea protein  13g
chicken salad on a roll, grapes, cookies, chips
more cookies
lemon tea protein  13g
came home and self medicated with French bread and butter
fish, salad
protein shake?

3 snacks of Cheetos....LOL????  The girls have a box of Cheezits in the kitchen but I've avoided it completely because I know I will get hooked way to easy.
