Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

Good Morning!!!  It's a sunshine filled day!!   My scales are still up a couple of pounds but I as soon as my house is junk food free and (less talking around the kitchen table) they will melt off easily thanks to making better choices and my RNY.  I have NO fear of these 2 pounds staying around!!  If they do it's because I am over indulging and I am making bad choices!!
I'm feeling like I am successful as a Mom today!  3 Happily Married DD's, 7 Beautiful Grandchildren (plus a step) and #9 due in March, and finally all 3 have a house nicer than mine...YES!!  Over the last 7 years one by one they moved their families in with us while they built their new homes or bought one and the last one moves out today!!  I'm soooo excited for her and her DD's!  My 14 yr. old DGD told me last night (sitting around the kitchen table nibbling on cookies) how happy she was for her mom. She said "my Mom is a hard worker and deserves this"!  Married at 18 and abused for many years and raising 3 DD's on her own for 8 years she still managed to own a pre-school/daycare, graduate with high honors with a degree in Education and in December will graduate with a Masters Degree in Special Education.  Praying she will be Blessed with a teaching job soon!!!

Good morning a day late!!  I always seem to be running a day behind...sorry! Would you mind putting your surgery type and date in your heading or signature.  If helps us a lot to give advice.

I'm going to buy some quinoa.  I need to read up on it and figure out what to do with it.

No Protein drinks?  Your Protein total looks really low.

I hope you finished the day out strong!!

I agree, we are successful when our children are successful!!! and you have done a super job!!!!

It is beautiful here but hot.  I got my new hearing aid this morning then had meetings so no ponies and no walking.

decaf protein coffee  33g
pork patty, tomato
lemon tea protein  13g
pork patty, tomato
lemon tea protein  13g
steak, salad
protein pudding

I know pork patties aren't breakfast food (well, kind of sausage without the seasoning?) but I was hungry for MEAT and that was what I had thawed.  And it really hit the spot.

Did they new hearing aide make a difference?  I think my Mom needs one.  Sometimes I think her confusion comes from not being able to hear.

Pork patty sounds wonderful any time to me!  I need to make some up and freeze them for my lunch.  I've gotten lazy lately and I think that's why I've been slipping (can't blame it all on my DD staying with us)

Sounds Good Price!

Thanks Gina.  She has had a lot of ups and downs over the last 9 years and we've had to help some financially and emotionally but she's made it.

Sounds Good Gina!
