Where are all the newbees???
Welcome. Remember it isn't a race but a lifetime. With a sleeve you really don't have a honeymoon so just follow your plan and keep on keeping on. Lightweights don't lose the massive pounds that our heavier friends do but we lose the same % of excess weight.

I'm fairly new as well. Sleeved on 8/12 and RNY'd on 8/13 due to sleeve complications. Happy to be a part of this group!

I'm new! I followed a post on the main forum list here. I'm having VS surgery September 4th. I'm a little nervous but I think it will be really good for me. I've always been pretty good at losing weight but not at keeping it off, I'm hoping that this tool will be the thing I need to finally be successful :)
Welcome aboard! I'm glad you're here.

I think the problem starts with folks having a hard time finding us and, as a result, there are fewer posts to contemplate and respond to. I also find that when my schedule is overly busy, I find myself just clicking on a few trending topics on the OH hope page, so I don't make it to the LW board. I made it here today because this topic is trending. The LW board is my favorite, though. The vets are no-nonsense, but kind, compassionate, and encouraging. The very best on OH!
