Try taking your iron a little longer after eating (hour and half, on an empty stomach) but 30 minutes before you lay down. Iron can "sit" on your stomach. So, if you take it and lay down or if your stomach is "full" as it dissolves it can actually go up your esophagus. (And just a note, don't take right before doing stomach exercises even if you aren't on the floor.)
Not medical advise. Just knowledge from a person that has been there. You can also do a search online about it to satisfy your curiosity.

Haven't posted in a couple days d/t super busy weekend. Saw DD #1 off to London for 3 weeks, and DD#3 off to college :(. DD #2 is getting DS ready for Prek tomorrow.
Getting ready to move the whole office at work, lots of stuff to sort through and pitch prior to that. We have two offices and both are moving at end of Sept.
