Menus and Miles for Roz, Friday, August 22nd
I see Roz must be busy! I'll get this started.
Doing pretty good on my decarbing. 5 lbs lost since Wed, but it's all water, I know that - but I'll take it!!
B - 2 jimmy dean sausages w/ egg and cheese and coffee
S - some SF pickles and a few dills chips Missed lunch now I want to munch but its too close to dinner....
D - pot roast w/ some veggies and a cucumber/tomatoe salad

Good for you Jody. I think I am doing well but I'm hanging on to those pounds I gained over vacation. My gym has been closed due to renovations and I have missed classes this week which I don't think helps. I have walked or ridden everyday.
Rode Poppy this morning then paperwork. The guys are gone to Pigeon Forge for the week so I am all alone with the animals. Should be a quiet week and easy to stay on program.

I need some suggestions for something sweet and low carb, if there is such a thing. I get a craving in the evenings and sometimes the shake will do it but not always. Didn't we use to have a protein cake that was made with protein powder and ???? Anyone remember that????

I really like fat free sugar free plain yogurt with a tablespoon of sugarfree pudding powder mixed in (lemon, banana cream and vanilla are good) Then I put a little fruit or walnuts in it sometimes) I also like 1% cottage cheese with diet preserves (apricot) and a teeny bit of walnuts.

I used to make a Greek yogurt cheesecake that was yummy. I made a cake a few years back but it was like crack and I had to leave it behind. I'm not a sweet person but a salty crunch person. Hard to do either on low carb.

Hi Jody!
After vacation I went carnivore for a week and lost a few lbs, then got bored and started eating carbs ( healthy ones) and the weight came right back though I was still under my calorie level That'll show me. ( I did manage to keep off two of the lbs though) Four more to go!
B oatmeal, apple, walnuts, egg
L ww tortilla (half), turkey breast, cheddar cheese, cucumber
S tuna pouch, grapefruit
D taco salad (taco meat, veggies, tiny bit of cheddar)
S popcorn
miles overslept, vites yes, fluids yes

I don't count calories but pay attention to carbs and fat. I've been following a ketozone site on FB that is interesting with good recipes

AHHH !! Always the iconoclast ( sorry ) . Homegrown lettuce ( w natural Viagra ! ) ... fat free Bluecheese dressing . "meatloaf" pattiez my cat wont eat cuz theyre mainly eggplant zucchini and stale sourdough bread ( and homelaid organic eggz)
