Menus and Miles Thursday Aug. 21st
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Thursday....1 more day!! One more day until the weekend...YEAH. I'm wishing this week away!! DH didn't say to much about the side of my van being scrapped but I am still so mad at myself. After going pain free for 3 months I had to get an injection in my bladder yesterday and have another one scheduled for next week. That darn jalapeno dip!! I'm going to cut back to one Protein drink a day until things calm down.

Hope you're feeling better soon. I was wondering if I missed a day when I saw your posting subject.. ;)
Did well yesterday - kept carbs under 25 and calories under 1000, today will be lower (carbs). No beer/wine. I did eat a little summer sausage and a few slices of cut up cheese. I'm trying to stay away from too much cheese too, it has hidden carbs in it. I'm posting on myfitnesspal too, so that should help.
I put that breading on chicken before and that's good too.
I have a massage and facial tonight! Been wanting to get them for quite awhile.
Today's plan:
B - coffee w/silk and splenda
B - 1 jimmy dean sausage/1 slice kraft cheese/1 egg (3 carbs)
L - leftover pork chop (0 carbs)
S - protein drink (4 carbs)... need new protein without so many carbs
D - leftover steak - 0 carbs, veggie if I want more.
S - going to make a cucumber/tomato salad if I feel like munching
Vits: yes
water: doing pretty good

Roz I hope you feel better soon!
I have been losing my mind with the first week of school. I can barely function. But work is going well and I may be offered a supplemental contract they don't usually give a third year teacher. The bad news is they're passing over one of my best friends who has 16 years. It happens, and work friends can be challenging at these times.
Every day protein coffee, protein water and nibbles of food for "practice". Eating is weird and I've made myself uncomfortable a few times. It's shocking how little I can eat at this stage. Fluids are easy some days awful others. But I'm progressing and adjusting to my new way of life.
I was stalled a week and then dropped 2. Typical.
