Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

 

Over the Hump day!!!   ..I just scratched the side of my van and I am soooo bummed!  I thought my tire was touching something so I tried to back up and it was a cut off pole that I couldn't see.

Owee - I feel your pain.  I hate reversing and avoid it as much as possible... I've been caught by evil bollards myself! 

I have achey shins today from a 5 minute sprint - I now remember the pain I used to get in my shins when I was a running club member.  I couldn't get rid of the pain no matter how much I stretched or what terrain I ran on or what sneakers I used!  I knew exercise was bad for you!!

My van is 10 years old and looked super nice until today...   I totally agree that exercise is bad for you....LOL!!!!!   Shin pain and foot pain are hard to get rid of.

MENU: (DS Maintenance Mode)

B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]
S - protein coffee (30g) and Greek yogurt w/blueberries
S - peanuts
L - protein shake (30g) and fresh salsa and Scoops
S - Greek yogurt w/blueberries
S - peanuts
D - stir fried chicken and bok choy
S - CarbSmart ice cream

VITES:

Oh Roz - I've done that too!  AND my Durango was brand new.... 

Sorry I've been MIA.  Been really busy lately, but settling down some.  I weighed today and I haven't been this weight in over 5 years.  so... decarbing, protein drinks and no beer are on my menu.  I got back on Myfitnesspal... need to start logging food again. 

B - coffee w/creamer, coffee w/silk unsweetened and splenda

L - leftover pork chop from last night with pork rind breading (yum)

S - protein shake (of course I have a carbiesh one) Each 8 oz drink is 5 carbs.  that includes the silk, but that's too many if I want to have a couple a day. 

D - ribeye and cheesy cauliflower with bacon

Vits:  yes

Water:  doing ok today.

My total carbs for the day should be ~20. 

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

 I checked out your pictures and you look awesome in them!  I love the Christmas picture!  Your Grandchildren are Beautiful!!!   I was looking for some of the earlier ones because I can still remember how awesome you looked in a dress you had bought (I think it was turquoise)  but you took all of your old pictures off.....  I love to look at my old pictures for a reminder of how far I have come and where I don't want to go back too. 

I am going to have to try that pork rind breading after my bladder calms down...hopefully it won't set me off.  I might try it on chicken.

Sounds Good....concentrate on Protein!!  You can do this Jody!!!  Our 7th surgiversary (is that right??) is coming up soon!

Aww - you're too sweet.  I know I cleaned up some of my pictures - trying to remember what turquoise dress that was. 

My son got engaged a few weeks ago and although the wedding isn't until May, I need to get my weight down and under control so I can either get into a dress I already have or buy a new one!  I also need to get toned/firmed up.....

haha...I didn't subtract right!  I was so excited when DD#2 got married last summer because I got to buy a new "tiny" black dress.  I was soooo fat for the first 3 weddings and I'm so ashamed when I look at myself in their wedding pictures. I think I spent around $35.00 compared to $200 to $300 for the other ones just so I felt semi nice.
