Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

It's Friday.......!!!! There was only 2 posters yesterday....where is everyone?????

DD#2 Did move her family to our house yesterday while I was at work....after writing several times asking DH and I if we were sure it was ok (like we'd say no). It was nice waking up and seeing 3 of our grandchildren and then at 7:00am two more showed up because she was watching them for DD#3.  She has her closing at 4:00pm and then she will be officially houseless until the mortgage is approved for their new house.  I'm soooo excited for her!  She has had a really rough life with an abusive husband, bankruptcy, and a nasty divorce. She has done such an awesome job on her own the last 9 years.  Never missed a house payment, got her teaching degree, owning her own preschool/day care, graduating in December with her Masters in Special Education, and marrying a wonderful Christian man (a yr. on Monday) who is very supportive of her and her girls.

Life throws us all kinds of curve balls.  WLS can sometimes help those unexpected things and sometimes it can cause them. Sometimes Venting and Sharing can help get you through those rough times.  We are here if you need us.

Last day a vacation. {sigh} 

MENU: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]
S - protein coffee (30g) and Greek yogurt w/blueberries
L - fried chicken, a little coleslaw and hush puppies (corn bread) 
S - cheese crackers
D - chili
S -

evening batch: done
