I'm just about 20 months post-MGB op and my vitamin list looks a lot like a RNYer's list:

  • AM1: Centrum Silver Multi, 500mg calcium citrate with D, 5000iu D3, 1250mg B12 (every other day)
  • AM2: 500mg calcium citrate with D
  • PM1: Centrum Silver Multi, 500mg calcium citrate
  • PM2: 50mg carbonyl iron, 500mg C, .625mg Premarin (hormones bottomed out within 6 months post-op)

My Ferritin is still trending down so I have a heme consult soon to hopefully get infusions.  I had one about 4 years ago and it lasted a long time.  My other iron numbers are at the lower end of normal but still lower at each check up.  I hope they will do the infusion as I have been feeling more tired lately.

Seems like I take others but I don't have them in front of me.  I take pills about 3 or 4 times a day.

Labs have been very good except Ferritin and magnesium was at the lower end.
