My RNY to DS Revision Journey Update
Thanks to a lot of helpful people on here and a really RUDE nutritionist at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, I started to look for a surgeon who specifically does the RNY to DS revision. I found Dr. David Greenbaum in NJ. Anyone have experience with him?
I had my upper GI done at a local hospital and it basically showed that everything is intact. The reason I am seeking the revision is a rapid regain but more importantly, I developed severe hypoglycemia which leads to unexpected sugar drops (it ISN'T reactive hypoglycemia) and then transitions to a clonic tonic seizure if I don't recognize it and treat it immediately.
I am currently HEAVILY trying to lose the weight I regained. You can see my progress below in my tracker. I walk 2-3 miles a day at a FAST pace (16 minute mile), enjoy an hour of yoga and I eat when I am hungry and only until I am full. That usually gives me a gross calorie intake of about 1000 calories and a net intake (after the exercise.) So far so good on that front. My philosophy is that the fat that is new is easier to lose when it's fresh.
Anyway, my next step on the road to DS revision is to email Dr. Greenbaum with the upper GI results and see what happens.

Good for you for persevering in your quest to be healthy. I'd look for more feedback on Dr Greenbaum though - I found some random info here http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/revision/4635457/RNY-to-DS -Revision/
