Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

Happy Sunday!!!

I hope you all enjoyed your Saturday!  We had a good time at our Reunion yesterday.  The storms held off until the meal was done but the volleyball games and had toss were played even though it was pouring. I'm a whimp so I stayed inside most of the time. A friend that I haven't seen in years talked for hours.  She has decided to take out a loan so she can pay for her 28 yr. old DD to have WLS and then PS.  I guess she had it all scheduled when she was a teenager but her DD wouldn't quit crying and she was scared so they backed out. At 28 she has never had a date and even though her college would have been completely paid for (mom works there) she wouldn't go....so sad but if she goes through this I can see a wonderful future ahead of her.

Price, beat you!!

Anyway, all the best for your friend's daughter - I wish her every success and she's still young to reap the benefits and get the confidence to meet someone.

Today I re-doubled my efforts re carbs and had 3 protein shakes at 2 hourly intervals and the results were not good.  It was like being a noob, as in liquid in, liquid out!! :-S  I'll stick to a protein shake in the morning and one in the afternoon at most.

DH sent me this vid that had me in tears of laughter, the meanie!! LetOneGo!!

Roz sounds fun and I wish her the best!

Ok any worries I had about "eating" were dispelled any day I was busy away from home. It is too easy to eat here and hard when out!

B-protein unflavored in caramel coffee, tolerable. I still prefer chocolate but that giant tub of isopure is mocking me.

Nothing again until 4 but fluids. Oops lol.

Late lunch - isopure in iced tea, better than crystal light but too chalky - 26g

D-vegetable soup plus protein

s- greek yogurt or sf pudding

Busy girl = not eating girl. Glad to have my zoom back even in short bursts!!!

Hi Roz.  Drove back to MI from VA today - had a book on my phone so that always help alleviate the boredom of the trip.

I packed ham and cheese sticks and brought a huge glass of ice tea.  I ate 1 piece of the ham and don't think it was good.  I ended up throwing it out.  Of course i bought a calzone in it's place.  Yes, it took me the entire trip to eat...

B - coffee and a very small portion of scrambled egg w/sausage gravy.  I also had nuked some link sausage and didn't think it tasted right.. Hmm.. I burned my tongue on chicken noodle soup yesterday, wonder if that had anything to do with it?

L/D - the calzone and 3 cheeze sticks

S - some cashews.
