Yeah, it's that day again!! It snuck on me as it's been such busy week - yippee!!
Last night I got up for the bathroom twice!! The night before I didn't get up - WTH?? I guess I drank a lot. Tonight I'll be happy if it's just the once... if my teenage self could hear what I just said, it'd shudder!!

Plenty of walking and driving considering my state two days ago! Last night lots too!
One incision is the devil. But I consumed 115g of protein and went to three stores! I didn't even nap but I will get to bed early I hope.
Don't wear yourself out! I remember feeling really good after I got my gall bladder out and I completely over did it and then it back fired on my and I was so miserable.
Sounds Like a good Protein Day!!! Did you drink the shakes when you had the band? I can't remember.

Breakfast: Muscle milk consumed over most of the morning, 1 glass of water and vitamins
Lunch: onto a second muscle milk and vitamins.
Dinner: more water, vitamins, and protein. I think I'm going to make some protein broth, I have some unjury chicken broth that they gave me at the hospital to try.
Thanks Roz! I'm feeling pretty good. I am surprised by the pain, in a good way. I thought it would be significantly worse, but it really isn't bad at all. That first night I was just not myself and had a panic attack in the hospital (they were asking me what I take for panic attacks and I had nothing to tell them because I don't get panic attacks!), felt like I couldn't breathe had ruined my life and all kinds of foolishness. I think it was the lingering influence of the anathesia. I feel 100% better now. I've been moving around a lot and even though there is limitation there isn't nearly as much as I thought there would be. My mom is visiting me to help out and keeps telling me to slow down!
I've heard this happening to quite a few people right after surgery so you aren't alone. I don't have panic attacks or depression but the first week after surgery it all hit me at once. At my 1 week appt. my Surgeon was stunned at what a wreck I was. He said he never seen anyone as calm as me the day of surgery. I didn't have a care in the world.
