WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Monday...Monday!! Hope you ALL had a successful weekend!! I made a couple of Pumpkin Pies last night and had a couple of small pieces but it could have been something worse like super sweet Apple Crumb.

Drove Teke this morning and walked because I have a meeting this evening and can't go to Muscle Pump. Scale was down yesterday which is good incentive to staying on track with low carb and exercise.

Eating wasn't good as usual... Scale isn't being nice and I'm getting back on track today. Stopped at Vitamin Shoppe yesterday and picked up some Nectar double stuffed cookie protein. 4 carbs a scoop, more than I'd like, but I mix it with my unsweetened almond milk and it's very good - low carb too
B - 1 coffee w/creamer - 1 coffee with a splash of my protein milk
L - peppered turkey w/swiss cheese rollups
S - 1.5 scoop cookie protein drink
S - 1 slice of roast beef (like a thin sandwich type)
D - chicken tenders in the fridge that need to be cooked. Not sure what I'm doing with them yet...

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.

I do blend it up. I haven't made it for awhile but I think it was 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup water, and then I usually add a little cherry flavoring and some SF cheesecake pudding mix, ice cubes...YUM! I will look at the recipe tonight and if this isn't right I will let you know. I forgot the scoop of Protein Powder!!

So basically I let my disordered eating rule my life while my band destroyed me. I disappeared from OH totally after I unfilled my band in March 2011. My healthy weight is somewhere between 155-165 when properly muscled and athletic, which I was, in 2011. So. Here were are now. I had my band out last Tuesday and I have a sneaky sleeve.
Breakfast: Jay Robb Strawberry protein shake w unsweet almond milk and what feels like a gazillion vitamins :) 26G protein
Lunch - Chicken asparagus soup (my recipe) 14.1G protein
Snack - Watery oats - 2.5G protein
Dinner - Cottage cheese blended a bit with some marinara on top, warm -16G of protein (even if I have to add some unflavored protein powder to my tiny serving)
That's all she wrote folks, survival. I was supposed to be back to work doing professional development this week but I am too weak! Three for one surgery kicked my A like no other.
I don't think I have a ticker or signature anymore, but I will fix it.
I just got on and saw your name and was sooooo excited!!! I've wondered how you were doing!! I've checked several times to see if you were posting on a different group. You need to update us on your Life!! You did so good with the band that you should do fantastic with the sleeve.

Ok short version I earned my master of education June 2012 became an ED Intervention specialist (teacher to public school students with emotional disturbance) jan 2013. I was injured doing CrossFit and quit dec 2012 I will never be a fan again, it's dangerous for joints and tendons for some, not all. I've been working two part time jobs to make ends meet so my eating and self-care were terrible. So I am about 40-50 lbs stop heavy but lucky since I have no bariatric coverage to get what I did, due to my hernia and the generosity of my surgeon who "wanted to make me whole". It's weird to be back but here I am! I will always struggle with disordered eating but I need to win.
