Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
Happy Sunday!!! DH did good yesterday showering, dressing, helping with 4 grandkids so my days are going to get better!! We had so much fun at the river yesterday. It's actually the first time we have watched anyone tubing. DD, SIL, and the 2 DGS had a blast. I am terrified of water so just walking across the rocking deck and getting into the speed boat was a huge thing for me. The first time the 2 yr. old and DD tipped over I just about lost it. I also cleaned my refrigerator from top to bottom. I've been putting that off for weeks!

I love the water but we don't have good access anywhere here. And I guess if it is the ponies or water, I would chose the ponies. My dream locations has a clear bottom lake in front and a barn in back.
Drove Teke this morning and other than that I am not planning on much. Yesterday was way full so today I get some rest before heading into next week.

Good for you Roz with your fridge... fancy popping across the pond to do mine? ;-) It's not that bad really as it's only a couple of years old and we're careful to not spill stuff in it.
DH cooked a really hot chili tonight and I had to have a glass of milk with it. I never drink milk but we had some left from when his mom visited last weekend (Brits like their tea with milk).

Mines only 3 years old now and I couldn't believe how messy it was! Something leaked up where I couldn't see it. There is still one shelf that I need DH to take apart so I can clean the glass underneath but that's going to have to wait until he gets his cast off.
Did you drink Milk because of heartburn? I just read somewhere that is the last thing you should drink but when I was heavy it always seemed to help when I had heartburn.
Except for the really hot chili....Sounds Good!

I drank the milk coz of mouth burn. I never get heart burn, so I'm lucky in that respect - I don't even have to take a PPI, but I have calcium issues nevertheless.

We love Cooks Forest. Are you camping or renting a cabin? Have you ever been to Beartown Rocks? Website: http://www.cookforest.com/activities/beartown/08.cfm It's our DD's favorite place to go in the fall. It's probably nice in the summer too. It's just big rocks that you climb on. It's something we did every year when they were growing up and now they get to watch their kids laughing and climbing. There is a small beach at Clear Creek which is close to there. We always take pictures at the small water fall and then have a picnic in one of the shelters.
Sounds Good!
