WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!

Happy 4th of July!!   We celebrated my Birthday last night and it was so nice. They took me to Cracker Barrel.  It's my favorite place...partly because I never get to go there.  I had the chicken n dumplings.  I could only eat half of it but I've finished it off since then.

I can't wait to go to the fireworks tonight.  DH always complains about the traffic but he never refuses to take me.  I'm hoping none of the little ones get scared and cry this year.

It's an amazing day here.  I just got in from driving Teke and riding Poppy and it still is only 72.  Wow.  Hints of good things to come this week at Blowing Rock,  it is always 10-15 degrees cooler on the mountain.

Now headed out to shop.  The Dillard outlet is having a sale so 40% of the 70% off and that is getting into my price range.

decaf protein coffee  33g
carbquick blueberry muffin (I did the flax one with 1/2 carbquick, 1/2 flax)
leftover roasted chicken on carbquick cheddar roll.  Now I have to make more before Sunday
lemon tea protein  13g
peanut butter on a spoon
pork chops, cole slaw
