Quick question... should I be concerned?
I'm 13 days post VSG...
I feel like I've hit a slight stall... I've weighed the same the past three days... Currently, my diet is three 17 gram 100-110 calorie low carb protein shakes a day and about 8 oz of Greek Yogurt. I'm coming in between 500 and 600 calories. Liquid intake is between 60 and 100 oz (sip sip sip). Is it too early to hit a stall?
Nope - it happens. It's typical to hit a 'slowdown' or a stall about 2-3 weeks after surgery. It's your body catching up to what has happened to it. Stay on your program and you'll be losing again before you know it!

You are fine. Look at what you have lost already!!!! Your body will take a break every so often. Sometimes you will keep losing inches even when you aren't losing pounds. If you haven't taken your measurements, now is a good time. There is a place to log then on this site, along with your weight, which will change your ticker. Just stick to your program and you will be amazed.

Congrats on your Surgery!!!!!
Jody's right your body will stall once in awhile to catch up and Price's suggesting you take your measurements is a must to keep you sane during longer stalls. It is amazing how the inches seem to melt off during stalls. Good Water intake!
My suggestion is that you find a Whey Protein drink that has a higher Protein count with no carbs at all....like Syntrax. What kind of other foods are you eating? I would love for you to post on Menus and Miles.

Right now I'm on an all liquid diet (3 meals, 3 snacks, eat every 2-3 hours, minimum 60g protein, max 100g carbs, max 800 calories, 60oz of fluids minimum) so I'm doing three low carb shakes which give me 51g - 68g protein (depending on the shake) and only 5.1 to 6.8 carbs. I'm also eating Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt which gives me 12g of protein each and 9g of carbs. It's been really hard to consume as much as they'd like me to. I can do about 4 oz at a meal. I have another two weeks on those foods and then I move to pureed foods. Four weeks at that and then its to soft foods. Four weeks softs and then I'll be on a high protein, low carb diet. I find when I don't eat enough, my weight goes no where, but when I get in the minimums that my surgeon suggested, things seem to move.
