How do you fix your kale?  Since I don't have any in the garden right now, I have been buying it in the grocery and it is so tough.  I need to get some started in the garden again.

Having it a little chewy doesn't bother me, I just sauté it in my little frying pan with olive oil spray and whatever spices like garlic.  Sometimes I add a little water and cook it a little longer and it softens up.  I guess you are really supposed to preboil it for about 3 minutes then sauté it.  I didn't plant any kale this  year, but I planted a whole row of swiss chard.  I have been picking the baby leaves for salads.  I put raw kale in my salads too.

I love chard too.  Actually, I really like all greens.  But I do like homegrown kale better than store bought.  In the morning when I cook kale with my eggbeaters, I do it with a small pat of butter until it is pretty crispy, then add the eggbeaters and cheese and cook that like an omelet.

that's not much food but you are staying low carb and high protein.  getting your calories too low will slow your loss because your body goes into starvation mode and stops burning calories.  But if it is working for you, just be sure you get your protein, vits and mins in.

Yes my calories are low today. Stayed busy. I will probably splurge a little tomorrow. I didn't realize how little I ate until I tracked it. I need to track throughout the day to better monitor intake. 😊

Good luck at your sale.  We live so far out we would have no traffic to sell anything to.  You probably worked off that pizza, lol.
