Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!

Hello LW's!!!!    Well the cookies have caught up to me!  I was up to 121 this morning from my norm of 119.  Time to Cut out the Sugar!!!!

RNY Maintenance

Protein:              Matrix Mint Cookie 35g  

Lunch:                2 Meatballs

Protein:              Syntrax Lemon Tea 23g

Snack:                Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar

Dinner:               2 Thin Pork Chops and 1/2 of DH's Baked Potato Skin

Snack:                3 TBS. Popcorn, plain, made in microwave

B - 2 protein coffee's (yea!)

L - 3 chicken tender strips lightly sauteed in olive oil with a dusting of flour.  Hmmm didn't feel much restriction - need to watch out for that today.

D - no idea

Vits:  yep

WAter:  doing pretty good!

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost

For some strange reason Chicken Tenders made like that are sliders for me.  Strange because most chicken gets stuck.

hot hot hot here in NW PA  I am trying to cut back to three meals and two snacks.  REally missed my midmorning snack.  Some days it doesn't bother me, today I was hungry midmorning!

B cottage cheese with raisins, walnuts a little barley and cinnamon mixed in  Surprizinglly tasted pretty good. 

L swiss steak, barley, cucumber

S deli turkey and farmer cheese roll up, orange

D sausage pierogi yellow squash

S ???  maybe some ice cream

miles no, fluids 10 cups, vites good

I hope the giving up the snack thing works for you.  I've found that if I don't have several snacks then I feel a little shaky and I start craving before the next meal.

DH wanted ice cream last night so I gave in and we went to to the local custard stand but they were all out of NSA so I just had 1 bite of his.

Hi Roz,

I can get hooked on sugar especially cookies pretty quickly.  We had a board meeting this afternoon so I didn't get home until around 6:45 then I had to pick blueberries.  It was 8pm before I came in the house.  Just now sitting down to watch some TV.  I just decided to skip supper and have a protein drink.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  1/4 Stuffed Acorn Squash
S:  Cottage cheese, blueberries, splenda
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D:  Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink
S:  Carbquik Blueberry Muffin

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  100 ozs
Miles:  None

He can cook some things.  We don't hardly do any cooking during the week.  He eats sandwiches, fruit and salads mostly in the summertime.  In winter I make chili & soups and he eats those.  Sometimes he just eats cereal.  It is pretty much everybody for theirselves at our house since the kids have moved out-LOL.

I can't imagine having to come home every day and cooking....

B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]

D - stir fried chicken and bok choy
