It wouldn't drive me crazy not talking to DH but I'm not sure he could get through it....lol.  BUT I would never be able to get DH to go to a retreat so I guess I will never know.

I need to get some peppers and onions for my morning scrambled eggs.  I'm ready for a change.

I always like your variety!

I got up early to water my hanging pots but since everything was soaked I turned around and came back in.  I never heard it raining last night.  My mother-in-law told me to always water in the evenings because when you water in the morning the sun burns your plants and they dry up to quickly.  I've been reading that it's just the opposite...??????. We planted a bunch of perennials this year and they are doing so good with all of this rain.

Sounds like your Menu is right on track!!

Enjoy your trip!!

I remember the year I lost 75 lbs. on WW and DH wanted a chocolate cake.  I wore a face mask to keep myself out of the batter...LOL.  I think I will suck on tictacs this time...it won't seem so crazy if someone walks it....LOL.

Enjoy your time at the beach..... green with envy!

Sounds Good!

I think I figured out what's behind the cookie tradition in your neck of the woods, Roz. They're for the young couple in case the bride can't cook, so they take them home and have them around for nurishment.

hahaha!!  It is crazy that we do the cookie thing and other parts of the country don't.  We don't just put out a few trays either we put out 100's!    I had at least 150 dozen at my DD's weddings. We cut back on DD's 2nd wedding only because their were only about 50 people there. A few years ago I made 100 dozen for my nephews wedding but I only have to make 9 dozen for this one. What do you do different in your area?

Sounds Great Gina!

Hmm...what they do in my area is pay a fortune for a marriage that has less than a 50% chance of lasting long term. It's sad.
