Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!
Happy Tuesday LW's!!! Anything exciting going on??? We are going to plant for flowers this evening. I usually buy potted plants for my back yard but we decided we are going to try perennials so we don't have to buy new ones every year. Hopefully they can live through our cold winters.

You'll do fine with perennials - just make sure they are for your "zone". There are many new hybrids that now bloom throughout the year... One of my favorites is a Stella D'Oro daylily. It's yellow and just keeps blooming. You do need to deadhead, but it's not a big deal. Very low maintenance otherwise. I think they now also come in a pink color. It's been several years since I've had a yard with perennials so I haven't been out there much looking at them.
Found out my daughter is going to buy another house. They moved last July and don't like where they're at. It's just too noisy, house too small, needs too much updating, etc. All I can do is keep my mouth shut..they'll get unsolicited feedback from others. The benefit for me is the house they found is less than a mile from mine. The one they're in now is 10-13 miles away.
Back at work... I have a short work week as I had yesterday off. Then I leave for vacation again Saturday and be gone for 10 days. This is my annual motorcycle trip and looking forward to it. I hope the rain stays away or is scattered enough to avoid it.
Eats today:
B - coffee
L - 1/2 chicken salad leftover from Red Robin w/thousand island dressing
D - hamburger patty. Have some hamburg that needs to be cooked up, as long as it's still good... I took it out of the freezer when I got back and it's been sitting in the frig for over a week now.
Vits: yes - got them all in!
Water: Need to get working on it

That's exciting. I don't know from your post whether you are happy about them moving or not (except for the travel time). Does she have her house sold yet? DD#2 has been trying to sell hers so they can move half way between our town and where her DH works. Now she is 7 minutes from us and she will probably be about 45 minutes (plus traffic time) after they move. She has a 2nd interview on Thursday for a teaching position and it's in the area where they want to live so that might be the deciding factor. DD#1 said she will buy their house for a rental but she isn't telling her that until they are sure what they want to do.
Our vacation was 10 days too and it flew by so quickly.
Except for the hamburger (that you might eat) where's the Protein....LOL.

I'm happy they are moving closer to me. But they've only been in the house a year. The market in that part of Michigan is good, so if it's priced right they should be able to sell quickly. It's just that last year I tried to get them to move into my house so they didn't just "go buy something" then find it didn't work for them... which is exactly what happened. I can't say "told you so" because I'd like to see my Grandkids again - lol... but they have to live and learn on their own. They'll get enough push back from my ex, especially if he has to move them again.
I ran out of protein powder. I do have some here at work and may make me a protein hot chocolate. I made me one last Thursday and it was good. I ate some chicken on my salad... ;) not much though. I'll probably munch on ham/cheese rollups tonight too.

Nothing exciting going on here except I'm happy to be closer to camel day!!
I got some partial labs back from the doc and they're mostly OK - I've spammed Gina with some of them as she's the vitamins guru.
They announced a restructure at work and it just means that a few people are moving around. I think it'll be good, or I'm hoping it will be at least. Sometimes I think it can be good to have a fresh pair of eyes with renewed stamina looking at things, so I'm feeling pretty positive at the mo.

Tuesdays are such a blah day!
Gina will set you straight!!
I'm glad you feeling positive about your job changing. What kind of work do you do? I love my job and except for one person I wouldn't want anything to change.
I had a couple of pretzels today (which they were potato chips!!!).
Good Totals!

It's been a great day here. The audit was today and it is over. They said 3 people for 3 days and they were done by 2:30, they said because I was so well organized. Anyway, no issues and they were very complimentory. I am so happy to be done with it and now have tomorrow with not a thing on my book because I thought I was going to be in the audit. Didn't drive today because it was so hot by the middle of the afternoon but I will drive in the morning before it gets hot.
