Menus and Miles Friday June 6th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!
Happy Friday! It's picnic, graduation parties, vacations.....but it's also weather to walk, swim, ride bikes, etc. Make good choices so you have lots of memories but no regrets when summer is over!
DH has finally agreed it's time to do the landscaping over in the front of our house. I guess I will be burning some calories tomorrow. I know last year after we did all of the mulch I was sore for days. He says we are using stones this year...that sounds a lot harder to me but he is tired of doing the mulch every spring.

Happy Friday!! Yup, it's a beautiful day today here too and summer really does seem to have arrived - yeah, OK that probably just broke summer ;-)
I hope you survive the game - I prefer to be a sports widow rather than actually having to watch that stuff!!
I had 2 protein shakes today, wow the power of chocolate flavor - yum!! I'm thinking I could work in a 3rd one, but I'd have to get an extra shaker to take to work as I'll forget it there otherwise (I broke my spare recently). I'll just mull that over for now I think (might help me fight day time munchies though).

If DH's games weren't in Pittsburgh I'd probably stay home but he hates the drive plus is truck uses way to much gas and I'd be stranded at home and bored to death just knowing I couldn't go anywhere. It was actually a very productive trip. I went to their local gardening store and came out with 2 big carts full of shrubs and plants. I had to drive home because DH couldn't put his seat back....lol.
I do get the munchies since I've had to cut down on my shakes. It's a lot harder to make good snack choices than it is to mix up a protein shake.
Sounds Good!
