Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Morning LW's!!   I've been awake for hours thinking how to arrange the shrubs and plants I got for our landscaping.  It's 8:00am here and I was hoping DH would be up and ready to get started.  I guess he isn't as excited as I am!!    Do you feel like you can read your body a lot better since you have had LWS?  Being on a no MSG diet has really made me aware of how foods with additives and colorings effect my body. I've been getting REALLY BAD foot cramps during the night and I have been trying to figure out why.  This morning since I was so wide awake I noticed my pee is really yellow so I'm figuring my lack of fluids is probably the cause of the cramping.  When I think back to yesterday I'm positive I didn't drink much.  My shakes helped get my liquids in and I'm struggling with that now.  Help one thing and hurt another...where is that perfect balance....dah maybe it's forcing myself to drink more!!   I know I'm rambling on....LOL.   No eats really planned for today!

I'm drinking loads, which is good as the weather is getting warmer.  The trick is to always have a water bottle with me.  I even fill one and keep it in the bathroom so I can drink when I get during the night and very first thing when I get.  You'll figure it out, you've dealt with far more difficult thing dietwise and made a go of them.

I had some Skittles late last night, not loads, but enough to upset a DSer.  I was due to have iron before bed, so dairy was a no go... I'm ordering some popcorn as I need some snacks that aren't quite so naughty!!

I had 2 protein shakes today as I was trying to keep the munchies at bay.  I've also ordered white chocolate protein on next month's order as I don't want to get bored of any one flavor - hopefully it'll be nice.

I'm still a work in progress I guess - suppose I always will be in this lifetime!!

B1 Chocolate protein shake (30)
S Yogurt (5)
S Fish sticks (10)
L Chicken salad (30)

V All in (inc 8 calcium batches) nightime iron, vit C & copper & strontium batches pending

Plain Popcorn and I are best friends when it comes to defeating the munchies...LOL. It also helps me go to the bathroom every morning without fail.

I broke down and drank a Protein Drink on the way to church this morning. I don't like water but I've found that if I use a straw I do better so I need to buy a water bottle with a straw.

You must be craving chocolate today.  At least you added a little protein to your M&M's....lol.

Yes, I thought it was so bad when I read about DSers having peanut M&Ms and now I'm doing the same thing - you just end up craving sugar!! :-S

I wish I felt like I could read my body better.  Maybe I just don't listen to it very well, lol.

Drove Teke this morning then went shopping.  Doing some work and some cleaning.  The problem with working from home is when they come to audit, they come to your home.  I just keep thinking, it will all be over Tues.

decaf protein coffee  33g
scrambled eggs/cheese, small muffin
lemon tea protein  13g
Chicken salad in lettuce leaf wraps
iced decaf protein coffee  14g
toasted cabata bread, and now it's gone
beef roast, salad
protein shake  33g

Looking forward to the Belmont Stakes this evening.  It is almost impossible to hope that California Chrome will do it but we can hope.

Wow!!!  The Belmont Stakes is the last race in the Triple Crown.  The Ky derby, then the Preakness, then the Belmont.  California Chrome is the horse that won the first two but lost yesterday so we didn't have a Triple Crown Winner.  Have had one horse that won all 3 races since the 70's.

I doubt I will post any pictures.  I lost all of my rose trees and my pine tree from the cold winter we had.  All of my regular roses survived and are starting to bloom but my new trees, bushes and flowers are pretty small and they look kind of crazy right now.  I trimmed my azaleas and rhododendron bushes way back so they would blend in a little.  Next is the back yard.

I need to try the mashed cauliflower.  It sounds like something I would really like.

Sounds Good Gina!
