Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Morning LW's!!!!    DH and I have been taking advantage of cooking on our George Foreman and Outside grill.  The food is so much better and healthier.  I am amazed of how much fat runs off into the drip pan.

Hi Roz!  I love grilling!

Today's Plan... it seems to change often though:

B - rest of the breakfast scramble I made yesterday, with sausage gravy

L - leftover chicken mystery soup from the freezer

D - leftover steak from the freezer.  I'm not a fan of leftover steak so I may need to figure out something else to do with it.  Seems to be too dry for me.

Vits:  yes

Steak and I don't agree often.  I try to avoid gravies but sometimes it's the only way I can get meat down.

Mystery soup...that's funny!

I have a George Foreman but no place to put it on my counter, so it never gets taken out.  We do cook on the gas grill a lot though.

Went to an Italian cooking class last night. it was really fun, we learned how to make homemade pasta.  Too bad I can hardly ever have it! We'll see how the pasta from last night effects my weigh in this week!

The instructor gave me a recipe for whole wheat pasta, but it just wouldn't be the same!

B oatmeal, egg, half banana

S kashi go lean, almonds

L steak, veggies

S cottage cheese, frozen berries

D Turkey patty, veggies, tiny bit of baked potato

S I think popcorn

miles 50 minutes on treadmill, vites good, fluid good
