Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Today is really Saturday Long Weekend....YEAH!!   Grandkids Birthday Parties Sat. and Mon. then a Baby Shower Sunday.

My Mom was really good mentally today!  I'm going to try and take her to our DGS Birthday Party.

B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]

I might have to get rid of the fruit loops and find the little ones cereal that I don't like....lol.  I don't ever remember eating them in the past so why now???

Fruit Loops just mean you have kids around.  pretty funny!!!

Went to SC to drive today.  Had a good trip and Teke was great.

I'm so glad you have your Teke!!   I hope when my grandkids get older and don't need as much care as they do now that I have something I love to do.

You are strong to be able to stop at a handful!!!

Bought some kefir at walmart today.  It is kind of like a yogurty drink. I am going to try making it into a smoothie with fruit for my evening snack. We'll see how that goes! We put in our garden today, it always feels good to get that done.

B 2 egg omlette, swiss cheese and red peppers

s orange, ham

l whole wheat bagel thin, salmon salad, carrots

S greek yogurt with cheesecake pudding powder and some bran buds

D baked salmon, broccoli, mashed potatoes

S going to try to make a smoothie out of plain kefir and frozen fruit.

miles walked and hour AND put in my garden, fluids 10 1/2 cups so far, fluids good.

HI Roz - glad your mom was doing better today!

Went on a nice bike ride today.  Will do a longer one tomorrow - need to get up early. 

Made an awesome breakfast!

B - spinach/mushroom/cheese/egg/few hash brown potatoes and country gravy all mixed together.  Yes, there were carbs but it hung in with me all day!

D - sushi/salad w/ranch (not all of it)

S - a few beers

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months.

I seen a lot of motorcycles out this past weekend and it looked so freeing!  I saw your FB post about your long trip. Does your butt ever hurt without all of the extra padding on it?
