Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday.  I was so bummed when DH told me it was Friday.

I really appreciate Gina and any others who have started M&M for me!!!.  My Mom is doing pretty good.  Her body is very badly bruised and hurting from the falls.  I've been super busy helping her and working as many hours as possible. Our Director and the other girls in the office have been covering for me as much as they can. I go to her house 4 times a day to get her out/in bed, dressing, preparing meals etc. and then go home and wash her clothes, towels, etc.  Today my brother did noon and my sister is doing dinner. I spent my lunch shopping for an adjustable table she can use with her recliner.

Breakfast:    Protein Drink
Lunch:          Salad, cheese, beets, chick peas, kidney beans, FF honey dijon dressing
Snack:          1 egg, 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites, 1/4 diced ham
Dinner:         Not sure...since I don't have to be at Mom's until 9 DH and I might go out to eat

Snack:          2 TBS. Popcorn, plain, made in microwave (been too tired for this)

Calories:    Protein:      Net Carbs:

YUM...pot roast and green beans!!  The last couple roasts I bought have been horrible.  No flavor at all.

Sounds like a good Protein day!

I had some really no existent days of eating but it's getting better.

I've never been a big salad eater but I think the main reason is I like  of  salad dressings and they scared the crap out of me!  I finally decided it was better to have extra FF dressing than it is to have "bad" carbs for dinner.

Your Protein total looks pretty low.

For right now the helper is only coming 3 days a week around noon but she is only visiting.  We are trying to let mom get to know her and not feel threatened.  So far she hasn't thrown a fit about her coming.

Sounds really good Price!!
