Over the Hump Day! A new Nurses Aid started at my Mom's house today. She has fought us since last August because she doesn't want people coming and helping her. She can be VERY stubborn! Praying it goes well because I am getting totally burned out. We took the locks off of the door to her apartment so she can't lock them out. A Physical Therapist brought her a walker yesterday and she is feeling more confident moving around.
Breakfast: Scrambled: 1 egg, 1/4 cup egg Whites, 1/4 cup diced ham
Lunch: Salad, kidney beans, beets, cheese, FF/Gluten Free Honey Dijon
Snack: 1 Slice Swiss Cheese and Deli Ham

Beauatiful afternoon here. We had a terrible rain storm overnight though.
I hope your mom bonds with the HHA, I know a lot of HHA's and they are wonderful people.

I went to yoga this morning, needed the stress relief, then a day full of meetings. I did stop and buy some plants for the garden and hope to get them in after it cools off some this evening.

thanks, Linda. Her partner's mother is coming in tonight so I imagine the next few days are going to be rough. I am so glad DH is there to support her. He said she is doing ok, still shakey but ok. I plan on flying up as soon as I can get through this Medicaid Audit.

Hope the nurses aid can become friends with your mom. I bet she would enjoy the company if she can get used to having her there. I'm sure she would rather stay at home than have to move somewhere else.
