3 month post op and

I had my 3 month post op check up yesterday, doc is very pleased with my progress, I've lost 56% of my excess weight according to their calculations from surgery date, which is what they hope for 6 months out.

This am on my scale I am at 169 which puts me at a bmi of under 30..... I'm overweight!!! No longer obese yay!!!!

Last week I pulled out some of my skinny clothes because my 16 jeans fall off and tried some on and some of the stretchier 8s fit! A little tight but if I don't have to buy middle sizes I'll take it! Holy crap I'm actually pulling size 8 jeans up and buttoning them! 

My husband and I got married 4 years ago in June, never took a honeymoon bc we bought a house, I started a new job, etc. well we are taking an alone trip to Vegas for our anniversary, I can't wait!

That is great!  I don't know what you started at, but it all sounds wonderful! I have my 3 mo appointment too, but I am not down as far as you...any secrets? what is your normal menu  in one day like?  Maybe I need to go back to basics and just have shakes and crystal lite!

No secrets, looks like you are doing fantastic! 

My typical day is 75-90gm protein and 80 oz water 700ish calories. 

Bkfst greek yogurt

lunch 3 oz protein and a Babybel cheese or couple bites of salad

dinner 3 oz fish chicken or beef and some veggie

snack a protein bar or shake

second snack sometimes a Popsicle or 100 cal pack of almonds.

not exciting but it's working great! Pretty much no white carbs ever, no potatoes, very little rice, no bread.

Oh and my start weight was 223, surgery weight was 211.
