Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Only down .2 today.  The swelling is pretty much gone today so the rest is probably going to come off slower.  Our next vacation isn't until December so there isn't any excuse not to get this "vacation" weight off and keep it off.

For some reason your print has gotten quite small... a little harder to read for us "older" folks - even WITH glasses!

My dinner changed last night.  Instead of the cheeseburger soup I made up low-carb pork chops and creamed spinach.  My tummy/innards still aren't back to normal (as of last night) but today I'm feeling better.  I also had some wheat thins for late night snack and PAID DEARLY for them. - UGH!  You mentioned you don't think I eat enough... I really do, but the past few days my appetite has been lower... trying to take advantage of that as I have a few lbs to get off.  I did eat only about 1/3 of the pork chop but they were HUGE!

Leaving tomorrow for a motorcycle ride/gathering in Gettysburg for the weekend - I hope the rain  holds off and it's nice!!

Today:

B - coffee

L - cheeseburger soup

D - going out, probably sushi

HAHAHA....Since I am using my phone more I thought maybe my print was to big so I adjusted it.  I'm glad you wrote so I know to change it back.  I probably have my phone set on large print.....

Hope you are enjoying your motorcycle ride!

Glad your tummy is starting to feel better.

I got mine at Walmart.   Presto Powerpop Microwave Corn Popper.  You also have to buy the Presto PowerCup Popcorn Concentrators.  I love it! There are review that the Concentrators are expensive and they have to be replaced after each or several poppings but that isn't true.  If you don't over cook the popcorn they can be used for quite a few poppings. I bought the Presto Power Pop and the Nordic Ware but I didn't like either one of those so I took them back.

I've never tried popping it in a bag. Do you use a paper lunch bag? Plain? How does it turn out?

Hope your mouth feels better today!

Sounds Good!

Roz -popcorn in a brown lunch bag is pretty great. One minute and thirty seconds is all you need and then I eat out of the bag and then throw it away!

I think I'm going to try that!  That would be so much easier to pack in my suitcase instead of my popper.  You don't add oil?  How about salt?  You can pop 3 TBS. in a bag?

Nope . Just 3 Tbl of kernels. It can also be made in a large microwaveable bowl covered by a microwaveable plate.

That's pretty much what my Microwave popper is.  I am going to buy some bags and try this.  I used to take some to work but it was a pain to pop it and hunt around for something to put it in.  This would be good for the DGkids too.  They are always wanting popcorn.
