Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!
My scales are down 1/2 lb. My one ankle still has some swelling and I'm hoping if I stick with my list of IC approved foods that will all disappear. I Only worked 1 day and I'm off again today. It's Grandparents Day at our elementary schools and since we have 3 in three different schools I had to take the day off. I will never forget my first Grandparents day and some of the kids not having someone to visit them. DH and I "adopted" a few and included them in our scheduled activities.
Breakfast: Scrambled: 1 egg, 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites, 1/4 cup diced ham
Lunch:
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar (almonds, peanuts and sunflower seeds)
Snack:
Dinner: Hamburger thawing but not sure what I'm going to do with it.
Snack: 2 TBS. Popcorn, plain, made in microwave popper
Calories: Protein: Net Carbs:

Hi Roz, Enjoy your day today. We had grandparents day at DGD#2's school a couple of weeks ago. DH and I always go and then you get to take them home with you for the rest of the day. I feel for the little ones that have to stay because they don't have grandparents or their grandparents can't get off work to attend.
DGD#1's school doesn't do anything like that. Maybe they will when they get to real school and not just pre-K.
Here's the plan so far.
B: Protein Decaf Coffee
S: Decaf Coffee
S: Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L: 1/2 low carb tortilla wrap, 1 oz deli ham, 1 oz deli roast beef, 1/2 slice reduced fat pepperjack cheese
S: Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D: Maybe pizza made from low carb tortilla or pizza chips - not sure yet
S: Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink
Vitamins: Morning Done
Water/Fluids: 60 ozs so far
Miles: None
Linda
It was a fun day! I only got to go the the DGD's school an hour each because they were both in the morning but I got to spend the whole time at DGS's because he was the only one in the afternoon session.
Sounds Good Linda!

HI Roz - I went to Grandparents day at the day care for the girls last year... My heart went out to those kids that didn't have anyone there. I was the last Grandparent there and I could tell Wynn was worried - when I walked in the door she threw herself on me. She is a worrier... I'll have to find out when the next one is so I can plan to be there.
I'm still having a lot of intestinal distress and don't know why. Thought it was because I ate bad food on Sunday - Monday was the worst, but it comes/goes and flares up. Lots of gas and frequent trips to the bathroom. Took some probiotics. Seems to be worse at night. Go to to bed and the gas releases - ugh.
Giving training for work, so been busy.
B - coffee
L - a piece of leftover pizza
D - think I'll make my bacon cheeseburger soup, minus the bacon
Vits: yes
water: working on it.

There's a terrible flu going around our area that lasts for weeks. I hope whatever is bothering you goes away quickly.
I was about 10 minutes late for DGS's class and when I walked in he yelled out there's my Grandma. The Grandparents I was sitting beside said he was worried I wasn't coming. I guess I will have to make a point to be there early next year. When it was time for me to leave he yelled out I want a kiss and came running to the door...I bet that changes in a few years...lol.
One boy in my youngest DGD's room said my Grandma had to go so can I be with Raegan so I included him in everything. The few times that my DH got to go he always had several little boys following him around that didn't have any one there. I went to the oldest's ones school first so I was worried about Raegan being alone but it worked out because they did a concert first and the Grandparents weren't allowed to go to the rooms until K-3 finished their singing. I was there in plenty of time to go to her room.
So you had hamburger soup....lol. I don't make very good soups and I'm not allowed canned soup and I really would love to have a Big bowl of Beef Vegetable soup.
I know you are busy but you need to eat a little more.

I thought the GS cookies were all gone....LOL. So glad I didn't buy any this year! I did stupidly buy a bag of animal cookies in FL and I ate the whole bag myself and then I went out and bought another one.... I almost packed it when we came home but I had a few seconds of a "that's a dumb idea moment" and it was just long enough to throw it in the garbage.

On our last trip we all came home with several boxes of GS cookies given to us by the Soldiers we were meeting with. I put mine in the break room at work hoping someone else would eat them. lol
